Live to 9 Director

I was attracted to the Jaycees for the networking and volunteer opportunities. I stayed because I found an incredible group of young professionals, many with similar interests and goals to myself, who have become great friends. I also found the opportunities that the Jaycees provides (both explicit and implicit)  to be extremely valuable to my skill development as a leader, to my business, and to who I am overall as a member of the Cedar Valley community.  I have many favorite projects, but the one most near and dear to my heart is Live to 9, which I had the great honor of helping to develop from scratch and to see through its first successful season as the chairperson. The Jaycees provide a safe and supportive forum for members to get creative, get involved, and gain some pretty incredible skills and relationships in the process without even realizing it!
