Celebrate and honor our country's independence and rich history at the 8th Annual Star Spangled Sky Fireworks Festival at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

We mean REAL FUN with a 5K run, games, funnel cakes, hotdogs, hamburgers, lemonade, pop, popcorn, pizza, frisbee, dancing, live music by Lotus, a velcro walls, glow necklaces, fun in the sun and of course...THE FIREWORKS !

Saturday July 3rd

8:30 am           5K for Independence Day , Birdsall Park, Cedar Falls
Proceeds benefit the Star Spangled Sky Fireworks Festival.

Sunday July 4th

5:00 pm           Family Fun, Games & Food
Bring the kids out to the Dome for a picnic and entertainment as they enjoy inflatable games, community booths, and concessions. All day inflatable tickets are $5 or $1 per ticket.

6:00 pm           Live music by Lotus

                       While the kids are at play, enjoy live musical entertainment.

6:00 pm           Live Remote with 97.7 KCRR
                        97.7 KCRR will join us at the Dome for a live broadcast

7:30 pm           Sponsor recognition and Flag Ceremony

9:45 pm           Raffle Winner Announced!

10:00 pm         Fireworks Display!
                       Tune into 97.7 KCRR for choreographed music to this year’s fireworks display!

*Bring the sunscreen for the afternoon and a lawnchair for the evening. Please help us respect the grounds at UNI and leave the SPARKLERS at home.
