4th Annual Leadership Challenge

Thursday, March 11, 2010

8:30am to 4:30pm
The Supervisor's Club, Waterloo, IA

With the economic woes of our country tickling the doorstep of the Cedar Valley, there has never been a more crucial time to hunker down and get back to fundamentals. By investing in your greatest asset - your people - you will arm your company with the basic, applicable business skills needed to be successful in the coming year.

As part of the Cedar Falls Jaycees’ mission to provide quality leadership development opportunities to both our members and the greater community, we have stepped up this year’s Leadership Challenge to be more relevant and more interactive, without sacrificing the quality training and networking opportunities our regular participants have come to expect.

Our hands-on, interactive workshops this year will:

  • Give participants an awareness of how they look and sound to an audience and how to effectively communicate a confident, professional message
  • Create a broad, shared understanding of the key issues and factors that influence business
  • Highlight the fundamental importance of customer focus, including a solid understanding of customer needs
  • Illustrate how small improvements can have a great effect on the bottom line
  • Inspire people to focus on what can be done, even when business conditions are tough
Check in begins at 8:30am. Opening remarks start at 9am
